Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Claude Code Countdown ("Service"), operated at claudecodecountdown.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Service Description

Claude Code Countdown is a free utility that provides:

  • A countdown timer to track when Claude Code access is restored
  • Optional SMS notifications to alert you when your access is about to be restored

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of countdown timers or the delivery of SMS messages.

SMS Notification Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and initiating a countdown, you agree to the following SMS terms:

Consent

By entering your phone number and clicking "Start Countdown," you expressly consent to receive automated SMS text messages from Claude Code Countdown at the phone number you provided. Your consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service.

Message Frequency

You will receive up to 2 messages per countdown:

  • One message approximately 5 minutes before your set time
  • One message at your set access restoration time

This is a one-time notification service. You will not receive recurring messages unless you initiate another countdown.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier for receiving SMS messages.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message you receive
  • Not entering your phone number when using the Service
  • Refreshing the page before starting a countdown

After replying STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Note: If you have already started a countdown, scheduled messages may still be delivered as they are pre-scheduled with our carrier.

Supported Carriers

SMS messages are sent via Twilio and support major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier delivery is not guaranteed.

User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and valid phone number information
  • Only use phone numbers that you own or have permission to use
  • Use the Service for its intended purpose (countdown notifications)
  • Not abuse the Service by submitting excessive requests
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Send messages to phone numbers without proper consent
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Use automated systems to submit requests in bulk

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties that SMS messages will be delivered on time or at all
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy of countdown calculations

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAUDE CODE COUNTDOWN AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of data or missed notifications
  • SMS delivery failures or delays
  • Any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Claude Code Countdown and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
